The Pure Shit "State Of Australian Cinema" series continues with an audio answer to such quandaries – a special episode of Meat Bone Express podcast, with Tom Mann interviewing Mike Retter.

The state of Australian film is critiqued through positive experiences in the local indie scene, empowered to produce and exhibit work outside of the system.

The third act is more firebrand and Retter unleashes upon inaction, pub-conversation and academic studies, but encourages being rooted in the history of film.
